Spiritual Center for Women Vision

On April 14, 2018 I was at an event and the presenter was talking about Matthew 22:36-40, the place in the Bible where Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment?  Jesus answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”  I began to ponder in my heart about loving my neighbor as myself and I thought, “I sure hope that I love my neighbor more than myself because I don’t think that I love myself very much.”

Then, the Holy Spirit took me back to Scripture about the story of the woman at the well, the Samaritan woman and the conversation that Jesus had with her revealing to her and to the world, “I am the Messiah.”  Next, the Holy Spirit reminded me that Jesus proclaimed another “I am” statement to Martha, Mary’s sister when He said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life.”  Lastly, the Holy Spirit reminded me of Mary Magdalene, being the first to see Jesus after He had risen from the dead, telling her to go tell the other disciples that He had risen and would join them shortly, making her the first apostle.  And the revelation dawned in me that women really do hold a position of importance with Jesus!  I realized I had been holding in my heart that I did not matter as much to God because I am a woman.  The Holy Spirit said to me, “And you are not the only one.”

Immediately following this revelation, the vision for a Spiritual Center for Women dropped into me.  I could see the building with the words, “Spiritual Center for Women across the top.  I could feel the draw in my heart to go inside, that people would be drawn to go inside.  I could sense an altar and more.  The following is the vision God gave to me:

“When there is no clear prophetic vision,
people quickly wander
astray.
But when you follow the revelation of the word
heaven’s bliss fills your soul.”
Proverbs 29:18, TPT

She came to the well with a thirst incomplete
and encountered the everlasting drink.

Jesus met the Samaritan woman right where she was and showed her His deep and abiding love for her, revealing He is the Messiah.
And He will meet you right where you are, too.

Come To the Well!

The Christian-themed women’s art will be displayed throughout the building/church.  Women from other nations and cultures will be encouraged to submit their art to be displayed and featured at the Spiritual Center.  The Lord said the art would be one of the big draws for women from other nations to come to the well, the Spiritual Center (because it is universally appreciated).  It is the creative side from the Artist within (which is God within) that will help women share their stories through art.

Initially, the Spiritual Center Vision Team, a small core team (no more than 5) will be drawn together.  At the core is our shared belief in God and the original vision for the Spiritual Center.  Their goal is to dream of ways that the vision will be accomplished.

Once the Spiritual Center has begun, a larger multi-national team will be organized.  Its purpose is peace.

I have the vision – the overall picture.

Then, there will be the process, we will all be learning and trained up by God during this time.

There is a purpose – The purpose is to provide trainings/education for women so they know just how much they mean to Jesus.  He never meant for women to take a diminished role in Him and His kingdom.  Once women realize they are beloved children of God, then healing becomes more of a reality in their lives as they come to understand their identity is in Christ Jesus.  Then discipleship will happen.  Along with the trainings, which are ultimately about healing and restoration, the arts will draw women in from all over the world and showcase women’s identity in Christ; their stories and their healing.
